James D. Rogoff, president of James D. Rogoff Financial Services of Sewickley, is a graduate of the Business School at Boston University where he majored in Marketing and Finance. He also attended graduate courses in business at Duquesne University.
Jim Rogoff founded his financial services firm in 1969, providing expertise in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds as well as investment counseling, all forms of insurance, real estate, notary public services and marketing consultation for businesses. Jim is associated with three attorneys, one of whom is a Certified Public Accountant, to provide legal assistance, professional accounting, financial and business consulting, and income tax preparation.
His staff, includes Dan Daellenbach, Alice Langer, Elaine Klimkowski, Jamie Weber, James Rogoff, Kathleen Murray, Judith Solomich, Judith Rogoff and James Haram. Together, the Rogoff team has more than 130 years of insurance experience, 35 years of investment experience, and 64 years of accounting experience.
Jim is a registered investment broker with Beaconsfield Financial Services, a member of the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) and the Security Protection Insurance Corporation (SPIC). They clear through Mesirow Financial, a member of the New York Stock Exchange located in Chicago, Illinois.
As an insurance broker, Jim provides life, health, property and casualty insurance as well as surety bonding. The firm is the largest motorcycle insurer in Pennsylvania, insuring the entire state. He represents more than 25 companies including such well-known firms as Progressive, Safeco, Leader, AIG and GMAC, specializing in automobile and recreational vehicle insurance. The firm also provides notary public services including title transfers and license plates, word processing and secretarial services, fax and copy services. |
One of Jim's most innovative services is a complete library of audio and video training in the following areas: sales training and success in business training programs, as well as topics involving self-improvement and motivation, positive mental attitude and relationship enhancement. He also teaches his own sales training course and provides marketing consultation for businesses.
Jim has been married to his wife, Judith, for more than 35 years and is the father of twin sons, Eric and Evan. Both children graduated from the University of Michigan Business School. Eric is a private equity investor with Falcon Investment Advisors of Boston, Massachusetts and New York City. Evan is a certified Public Accountant and the Chief Financial Officer of two corporations, Click Tactics, Inc. and Vocalocity, Inc., in Atlanta, Georgia. Jim is also the proud grandfather of Andrew, Evan's son, who was born last July. As a husband, father, grandfather and businessman, Jim is able to relate to your personal or business needs for financial, insurance and investment advice.
